He's the new Iwobi. A good three-month period in his Everton career but absolutely dung before and after that.

He is a funny player, he maybe lacks a yard of pace for this level of the game if we are being honest but he has a hell of a lot of individual ability on the ball but much of the time he seems not to know what he actually wants to do with it.

That McNeil needs hooking. I can’t remember the last time he found an Everton player when attempting a pass.

Playing far and away out of position, I have some sympathy for him being forced to play as a defensive midfielder.

You just worry we’re the goals are coming from. Our creativity from midfield is next to nothing and our main striker has zero confidence at the moment. Worrying. All the teams around us seem to have goals in them, as well as conceding mind.
