I was at the game so not seen any replays - is there a new random rule where handball doesn't apply if the handball occurs after the ball hits an upright or was it just yet another truly shocking decision?

There is one special rule. Don’t give Everton anything

How can the handball rule against Onana be, smash it at him from a yard out and give the pen, but todays it, the player has his hands down by his side.

The facts are, Robinsons hand slows the ball down and allows the other defender to get a foot to it. Without the hand, the ball may go in, it’s a penalty 100%. If Dermot Gallagher on ref watch doesn’t say it’s a penalty then it only goes to convince me even more that the whole thing is fixed so we go down, everyone is in on it. The PL have clearly addressed the officials and said something about awarding fouls for an against.

Said before the game, would have taken a point with that team. But the lack of goals is proving a real worry. If we don’t address it quickly we’ll go down. Draws don’t keep you up.
No draws don’t keep you up but they are better than losses especially away from home, and tonight many of us would have welcomed that draw with the disjointed eleven we had to play with. The squad is down to the bare bones but some players will come back to strengthen the midfield which will help the team enormously, and Doucoure coming back will be a bonus with his energy and goals.

So you agree draws don’t keep you up. Tonight was a match on paper we should have had a chance of winning. Yes a draw is better than losing, but I’d rather have lost to Villa and won tonight. The chronic lack of goals is my biggest concern.

Because right now all 50 50 decisions are going against us unfortunately...has to improve just by the simple rules of probability.

I think that the match on paper made Fulham favourites with the team Everton were forced to put out because of injuries, I never saw the game but read it on the live forum and we had our chances as did Fulham, Pickford kept us in the game with terrific saves and we missed good chances, again. But those draws especially away from home all count as we strive to get enough points to stay up along with the ones we get back when our barrister does his job.
