I suspect we will start to get our share of wins from now on, however the shop name is still ace, and would of been in the 80s tbfI long for the days when Derby's become irrelevant, similar to the 80's where even if we did lose one, you just knew we were still a great side and had a chance of winning everything.
I think it was that great post on here about Everton being riddled with mediocrity, and one of our victories was naming the Everton shop in Liverpool one, Everton 2. I almost cried when I read those words, it just made me realise what we'd become.
Hopefully, celebrating derby wins like we've won something and amusing shop names are a thing of the past.
What happened next? Why did get man do that?Welcome to the new Goodison...
That was only a laugh and hardly seen as a victory and it was, after all, the 2nd Everton shop. That address word-play stuck in their craw too so I wouldn't worry. Im too long in the tooth to be upset about them winning the Derby...stuff them. If we go out with the right attitude instead of doormat syndrome, we'll beat them.I long for the days when Derby's become irrelevant, similar to the 80's where even if we did lose one, you just knew we were still a great side and had a chance of winning everything.
