Goughie started with we should be grateful for reaching the QF, but then went on to ask questions about Moyes team selections and tactics and questioning effort.

Durham's been more a long the lines of we should be expecting more

Actually, Gough went totally against type and made some very good points.....he has obviously been reading a few EFC fan sites as "research".

After saying our first XI was a very good team he went on to say our bench is not that bad and he lamented the lack of game time given to young players like Barkley, Velios and Duffy when the squad is sllegedly very thin.

Maybe at long last the national media is starting to wake up the Moyes myth.

Stan Collymore could have signed for Everton for £8.5m.

Would have been a signing we could not afford under Johnson. It's under the Johnson era we got ourselves in all this debt. People said we weren't spending money but we were one of the biggest spenders and got ourselves in debt by spunking £40m+ on the likes of Vinny Samways. Kenwright was a director in that era. Football was more innocent back then but now it's not and questions have got to be asked.

Please if any of you get on the radio remind everybody how big we are. Talk about how we are similar to Arsenal in that we're underachieving and letting other teams out glory us AND ESPECIALLY remind everyone Liverpool were Everton's daughter, and would not exist if Everton had not existed in the first place!
