Another ghastly week 42 points after my hit, way behind the curve and dropping like a stone, 4.1 mill overall - having one of those really unlucky years. Have Bowen and Creswell tonight though so could jump out of the 4 mill club if WHU do anything. 18 points on the bench. lol

More or less happy with my team though, good players so just need to let this bad form run.

Cresswell to White looks on the agenda this week as planned.

Going to hard face Almiron hoping he will regress and stick with Bowen but Newcastle are bang in form.

Same here, have dropped loads the last few games, need to make some changes to try and halt the slide.

Almiron bang in form and NUFC have good fixtures. But i'm pretty sure if I add him then he won't get many more points.

Our fixtures are quite good and Iwobi is in form. Tempted to go with him for the differential over Almiron but not sure if brave enough.

I dropped a massive clanger wild carding, most of the team were flavour of the week, like Auba, Wilson, Trossard and Chilwel - who went to do nothing for weeks, actually now have gone 500k - 4mill.

Had to rip it up start again to stop the blood flow, 16 point hit in last two weeks, now 100 points of a top 500k finish, I’m looking forward to the challenge.

I’ve gone fat upfront with Kane, Toney with Halland that will be Vs others Mitro, KDB, I’m betting I can cover the KDB spread with 8.1 mill midfielders and below with Kane and Toney, boosting the score overall - that’s the current plan anyway.

Bit of a mad year with no big money defenders or midfielders showing up really, the game could do with a bit of a shake up or an alternative captaincy pick, be a good time for Salah or Son to come alive.

He’s the sensible play mate his form is incredible, hes either breaking out at 28 under a new manager or just in mad bit of form luck, tbf his mis in the second half of last season were really good under Howe, if nothing else this week ins an easy .1.

Haha balls of steel picking Iwobi! lol

I have Son in my team as I keep thinking he HAS to star firing properly at some point, also have Toney I find him a bit up and down and was actually thinking about dropping him out.

I still think there is 200 points in Son mate. (At some stage).

Who would you flip Toney for Mitro, or go 5 in midfield.

I had a bit of a play around with Toney to Mitro, Andres to Almiron earlier - TBF Anders is making a shout for a start himself.

I have Mitro in alongside Haaland and Toney in a 3 at the moment and was thinking about switching to a 5 in midfield and now Brighton are on the slide I switched out Gross for Almiron. If I go to 5 then I will have Rashford (makes up for losing a 3rd striker) Saka, Son, and Almiron, and Downes is my spare and he is getting games now) Not going to do it just yet as i noticed looking at Toney's form he seems to have 1 good game then 2 poor ones. Well he has just had 2 poor ones so is hopefully due a good game this weekend and they play Wolves.

So ultimately you would be backing Rashford to outscore, Toney and what you can do with the difference - its also two transfers. I like a 3-5-2 as my default for formation mate uusally, i just dont trust the midfilders at all this year so far, while Mitro and Toney have proven excellent value also both are on pens.

Its been a funny stop and start year this and no one bar a few have really build momentum.

So ended up at 3.7 mill overall, after the WHU game, still a red arrow, but out of the 4 mill club and have taken my medicne now hit wise and fairly happy with my team, going to really need to play well now to get close to a top 1 mill finsih. lol

Never had a 7 figure finish overall before - job of work is on.

Planning a boring Creswell to White this week, to complete a 3 City and 3 Arsenal staring line up.

Yeah, I'm not changing anything at the moment and because of that form thing with Toney, I will see how he does this weekend. I do agree the game is having a weird year and a lot of normally week in week out reliable players (usually good for at least 4/5 points) are not doing it this season so far.

I often wonder is it the time of the year. One thing i noticed in the past is lads like Son and Bowen usually come alive round about now, i dont know is it the pace or teams begining to get fatigued or just fancying playing in the winter when others dont, but i remember holding Son early doors the last couple of years and then loosing patience then bang he was tearing it up, similar with Bowen last year around this time of year, the World Cup kind of messes with my theory this year, but its something i intend to keep an eye on. Im a bit like you with Son holding Bowen, im just waiting for the fire to catch, you know the points are there its just when.

Equally some lads like playing in the Aug - Oct stretch, dont fancy the winter then come back into form in March. The like of your Trossards, Rodrigos and Mahrez's.

Yeah the World Cup is bound to have an impact on certain players and some key players may get injured which could ruin some squads/teams. The other thing is we will go straight into a transfer window on return so there is going to be other options to strengthen FF teams. Just have to wait and see how it unfolds, but yeah I need to start picking up some points and quick!
