This season I've been looking more at OR rank than what I've been doing in mini leagues. It's made me realise how important captaincy decisions are. A few bad decisions had my ranking plummeting recently. But captaining Saka this GW gained me 80,000 places

Its a tricky one I'm finding.

Be Kane and Watkins VS something like Isak, Martial with the striking Viking - and where you can reinvest the saving into the double GW squads.

Arsenal midfielders VS Brighton with 3 DGW's while Arsneals fixtures aren't great.

Still you could get badly stung by the high ownerships - but games are running out to and can conceivably get 15 out for the Double GW in 34 with a WC and bench boost, so coudl be WCing before tomorrow.

The Striking Viking has kind of ruined the captaincy i find mate as hes default when fit, this week was great as you could seriously make up ground if you picked the right captain.

Halland becomes irrelevant to the game really, because everyone owns him and everyone captains him - the only variance is what price you got him at - so you are just matching the prevailing majorities scores really - so your score is really ground zero after Hallands (as everyone will have it) and it takes away from the variance of picking alternate captains.

All that said - i dont have the bottle not to captain him myself, so am part of the problem to - it might get fun if City have the title wrapped up with a few games to go and he gets rested and that may be an opportunity.

I find this part of the season is fun as you will have lads ahead in leagues, who will want to keep to the template and not harm their rank - while others chasing will make variance decisions to try and beat the template with late season bolters, DGWS and one or two hitting form with rotation at the ned of the season, usually their will be a gem or to from a relegation team fighting it out - wont be picking Iwobi myself mind. lol

Really don't know what to do with my forwards. I've got Kane, Toney and Haaland. Will probably stick with it but not having Watkins or Isak fills me with dread.
Anyway with my FT I think I'll do Martinelli or Saka to Rashford this GW so any striker changes will need a hit.

I wouldn't panic or take the hit personally mate, Kane and Toney are two of the three top scoring forwards in the game - think you've more then a punchers chance of them matching Watkins or Isak with a - 4 - not worth the hit in my opinion. You can also play two up top and five in the middle easily.

I just sold Watkins incidentally on my WC - he's a form pick, but how will he match up with other like Martial in 34 or Isak in 36 - i think the time to have had Watkins might have been a few weeks ago - he still might hold his own but ill play the % on those having more DGW games matching or bettering (but then im chasing).

If i was taking a hit, it would be for someone with a double as you have a chance of covering the spread on the hit with the extra game - so the hit would only cost you 2 points at a minimum - wouldn't be Watkins it would be Isak or Martial. Toney 33 - Martial 34 - Isak 36 over the next weeks may be viable, gets you 6 games - over say Watkins 4 and - 4 for the hit.

I've gone ahead and WC'd - looks like I'm married to the BB strategy.

I swapped Toney for Watkins a few weeks back as I was finding Toney's points were a bit up and down.

Yeah I wish I did that too but as @Neiler says it's probably no longer worth it. I'll stick with Toney for the Chelsea game then get Isak in I think.

Just need to decide who out of Saka and Martinelli will make way for Rashford. Prob Martinelli.
