Got him in my team. I'm surprised how few people have Everton players in their teams run the various leagues I'm playing in. The more I think about it, perhaps I shouldn't be.

51 all out and wee bit beyond the average, nothing spectacular but surprisingly a big green arrow, up to 630k odd. Largely down to the defence with the Spurs double up and Trippier all contributing.

Said last week, i wouldnt WC but having a good hard look at the moment, so might actually pull the pin. In hindsight it was a mistake a few weeks ago flipping Watkins for Alvarez, also would like some WHU cover from GW 10 beyond - so Bowen or JWP, maybe even Areola. Would also like to bring in Raya if i have the funds. While id like to mess about with my bench fodder a bit too. See how the price rises go might do it over this International break or next week.

If i dont WC i might just bring in Raya for Leno. Or take a hit and bring in Watkins - though not sure its all that urgent.

Right so, went a bit mad this week and took a - 8.

I unusually as a rule dont take a hit after an international break as they tends to be low scoring so im expecting a big red arrow and a ranking hit, but its early enough in the game for those players to make up the difference and i was plain going to be priced out on Watkins and Raya and i wanted them - Gordon is the enabler but is surprisingly posting 5pts per game average in a Newcastle team scoring and converting goals. Bit annoyed that im flipping back to Watknis and reversing a transfer i made about a month back, a mistake in hindsight, but at least not being too proud, recognising it and acting on it.

Overall i could have wildcarded but seems a bit excessive just to make a couple of changes as above, maybe im being doing precious it with, bad wildcard destroyed me first half of the season last year, so maybe i have the fear.

Need to decide on captain now..............

Brighton have actually been conceding a lot.

I have a theory though that City are pacing themselves and we wont see the best of them until March.

Yeah deffo, they often start a season relatively slowly. But like you say Brighton are not the tightest at the back so he could fill his boots
