I feel like I have more money to play with this year but also finding it much harder to pick a decent squad.

Same. Currently I have £2.5m in the bank and it somehow feels wrong to have that much left over.
The issue I’m finding is there is a real dearth of strikers to choose beyond Haaland (Kane seems unpickable as he may leave and even if he stays, trying to fit both or Haaland+Salah for the RS fans leaves the team short elsewhere) and a host of juicy affordable mids at 6.5-8.5m.
3-5-2 seems the route to go but picking the best combination of midfielders is racking my brain at the moment.
I lost my usual Ivan Toney pick so I’ve had to go a bit creative up top. It feels like midfield has everything, strikers nothing and offensive defenders all a bit meh.

I think I'll be going with a 352. Feels like the best one for me as there aren't enough convincing strikers to go 3 up top.
I'm trying to stick to players who I know will be nailed for starts and there aren't many decent strikers who fit that description

I’m currently favouring Grealish as a more likely starter, but it’s very hard to say really
I’ll change it again no doubt but went for Fernandez instead, managed to squeeze another .5mil out of my team. Think like you said it’s about using guaranteed starters. The strikers on offer aren’t that convincing or unproven so I’m going 352 as well.
Richarlison in my team if it’s likely kane accepts terms with kane in next 24 hours.
