40 so far with double Newcastle (sigh) and Son to go. Mbeumo getting that injury, despite scoring, was annoying with his upcoming fixtures. Thinking Palmer or Sterling as replacement.

Quite happy with most of my team as it stands but the defence is a real head-scratcher as to who to get in. Currently have White, Andersen, Cash, Udogie and Schar. Feel good about White (Tomiyasu injured for a bit) and Schar for the foreseeable but the other three I have serious doubts about.
 
Just looking at a possible wildcard team - looking at the fixtures im getting bad Son fear.

I can pull off a Salah, Tripper, Haalaand and Son team by sacrificing Bowen, Mbueno and Raya ▶️ Hwang, 4 mill keeper and bring in Son.

Its really a bet on will Son and Hwang outscore Bowen and Mbeuno, while if Hwang doesnt work out i can always downgrade to Palmer - really are good options in that 5.5 - 6.00 mill midfield bracket. Hhhmmm....

I think next season (if they don't fiddle with the game too much) I'm going to come away from my no RS players policy, the loss of points from the likes of Salah and TAA is mad tbh. Decided to swap out Diaby for Palmer for a few weeks and will see how that goes.

My approach is mate - i dont care enough about them, to bother me not to pick their players - personal thing.

I did likewise with Diaby, but i really rate him and hes been a good pick for me, hes out of the team at the moment and hes hard to justify over Xmas and with Gordon, Hwang and Palmer prob in better form, more nailed and at a lower prices.

Villa though are looking great, despite fixtures.
 

Just realised it's not only AFCON in January but also the Asian Cup. Kind of puts me off Hwang to replace Mbeumo as I'm already going to have get rid of Son and Salah for those tournaments.

Noticed that last night as well mate. Gone of Son as a result.

Im really struggling to decide between Hwang, Palmer, Sterling, Kudus.

Instinctively i want to pick Hwang.

Palmer has the fixtures.

Sterling has the fixtures but is boom and bust.

Kudus i think is a bit of a sleeper - but already have Bowen.

Any adivce lids?
 
Have two injury problems right now but only 1 free sub

Areola is injured and Turner doesn't play so need a keeper

Mbuemo is out injured.

May need to just change keeper and bench Mbuemo for JB for a week and then transfer him out next week
