Is this with your 1st wildcard? If so, I'd go through with it. I'd fancy something similar myself but TAA for Trippier.

Thanks mate, yep still have the first Wildcard - i tried to squeeze TAA in, but just cant reach to it without compromises elsewhere and his fixtures are turning, i got Tripper when he was at 6.5 mill so its a £1. 6mill jump on the upgrade - to rich for me unfortunately, doing the baove levaes me with .1 in the bank.

I have two available defenders in Tsimikas and neither are guaranteed starters.

I'm thinking now, Watkins for Haaland, Richy for Diaz which allows me to get TAA in for Gusto.

Will mean a -4 hit but I'm essentially already down with few available defenders.

I don't want to transfer Trippier or Branthwaite out as they're going to be mainstays for the season.

I'm no expert but it seems like this season is so topsy turvy in terms of who is scoring points that taking hits makes more sense now than in normal seasons.

Having a look at a potential wildcard lids and what i came up with was:

Pickford--Duba

Kabore--Trippier--Pau--Poro-Branthwaite

Salah-Saka-Gordon-Palmer- Son

Archer-Watkins-- Haaland.




Curren team is:

Raya--Duba

Kabore--Trippier--Tsimiskas--Poro-Branthwaite

Salah-Saka-Gordon-Bowen- Hwang

Archer--Watkins-- Haaland.

What do you think lads - worth it?

Yep mate, id prob need to pull the pin or be priced out of it this GW. Though i might go with Solanke over Haaland and keep the funds aside when hes back in GW 19.

Have too much invested in tripper and Branners not to carry them during their suspensions.

Traditionally i always use the second one across 28-38, generally speaking there will be at least two double game weeks in there and a couple of blank games - so i tend to use all my chips bar the first card then mate.

Go to where you usually make transfers and procede to make a transfer. You should see an option to play your wildcard (as well as an option to play your Free Hit). Press activate.

The plus of a Wildcard is that you can make ultimited free transfers before the next deadline. There's no real minus for playing it from my own personal experience.

There is something you should note, though: if you want to keep a player on your wildcard, DON'T transfer them out if they have increased in value. If you transfer a player in AND out who has increased in value, you'll have to pay their INCREASED price. That's a top tip the pros would mention.

Hard to know mate. Pau is definitely an upgrade on Tsimikas, so then it's a question of whether Palmer and Son are likely to get more points than Bowen and Hwang

Pulled the pin last night mate. It was now or never on Son and i would have been priced out it if i hadn't of jumped. So rocking the threemium of Haalland, Salah and Son over Xmas. I think its overall a defensive move, moving away from something more creative, but in my position i prob have to maintain and or release built up value and bring it into play. Im prob gone total template, but maybe thats no harm over Xmas and then have a look again n the New Year.

Interesting on Tsimikas - i actually left him in - i watched Villa at the weekend and man do they play a high line and the offiside trap, they have an insane amount of offsides - so haven't done Pau yet - but i may before the end of the week. Also have a feeling Spurs could be on the up and i might have a look at a Spurs double with Undogie. Their full backs take up insane attacking positions and with clean sheets so unpredicatble this year - that may be the way to go.

Need to decide to punt Haaland this weekend as well - but will wait for the pressers - finding the alternatives uninspiring..........
