Happy indeed, always good to win away in a derby.

Was just reading that Dublin are on course to use around 55 players over the O’ Byrne Cup and League. That’s wild.

The hurling league starts this weekend, although considering how soon the championship starts after the league final, i'm not sure does anyone actually want to win it.

Bit of a drama there at Wexford Park, thankfully no one was injured though.

Hurling fans evacuated from Wexford Park due to fire

Fans had to be evacuated at the Allianz Hurling League Division 1 match between Wexford and Galway this afternoon after a fire broke out at the Main Stand at Chadwicks Wexford Park.

Galway are leading Wexford by eight points in that game at the moment.

Tyrone v Donegal is a huge one tomorrow. Lose and our neighbours are staring at relegation.

Donegal impressed last week but to get Kerry without the Cliffords is a serious bonus.

Cork 2-17 Limerick 0-22 Cork win it right at the death with a late point from Shane Kingston. Of course Limerick will be a different animal come the championship, but still though i'll enjoy this win anyway!

Hopefully the footballers can keep up the positive vibes by beating Kildare tomorrow. Going down to division three would be an absolute disaster.

Antrim put up a good show against Kilkenny, although they lost by six points in the end.

Corrigan Park is a poor setting for a county team. The sooner Casement is built the better.

Although, Armagh gets most games as it stands so no real hurry ?

Didn't they stop running the Ulster hurling championship a few years ago?

Antrim gave Cork a fright in the 1986 all Ireland semi final, they beat Offaly in the 1989 semi final and they nearly beat Kilkenny in the 1991 semi final.

Down gave Cork a decent enough game in the 1992 championship as well, but neither counties built on those efforts sadly.
