McKay can feel hard done by. In most Armagh peoples top 5 if not 3 for the year. The debate was always between Mogan and Lennon for the last half-back slot, with Forker guaranteed as the winning captain. Odd to drop the full-back to accommodate both.
Conroy is surely POTY as they switched McCambridge out of the corner to accommodate the half-backs.
But controversy gets attention something Cantwell especially craves. Morgan getting picked makes a mockery of the excuses for not nominating Kelly (criminal he hasn't got an All-star) and Soupy in the first place.

Sad day for us Dubs, Jamsie has called it a day.

What a servant and absolute warrior, in a team of stars there is affair argument he was the was most influential of them all, especially to those who watched the Dubs every game up and down the country.

Retires as the most decorated player in GAA footballing history (jointly).

Enjoy the well retirement, owes Dublin nothing.

Some of his points were actually better. He's a genius
Yea the goal was akin to Maradonna 1986 moment (different class) but the points were simply from another planet, two of which no other player could achieve, watching it live in Croke Park that day was a moment for the ages and your"re just left there awestruck thinking " that didn't really happen did it"

Eoghan O Donnell throwing his lot in with the Dublin Footballers next year.

Big boost for the footballers but massive loss for the hurlers.

Davey Byrne and James Madden (AFL) back from Oz as well.

Whatever about James McCarthy retirement, Brian Fenton is going to be a massive loss to Dublin. He's been the best midfielder in the country, consistently, for a decade.

A huge gap to fill there.

Gutted, still numb, can’t believe it.

Hear he’s going traveling. Hope he really enjoys it.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him come back in a year or so. Maybe im in denial.

Absolute privilege to have watched him, what great days we had.

Owes Dublin nothing.

Legend.

Don't think he'll be the last this year either. Mick Fitz and Jack McCaffrey must be close to finishing up.
