As the meme I saw goes, he’s signing for us after agreeing a fee with United, his medical in Naples and the deal’s being overseen at Arsenal
 

Arsenal fans are convinced he’s going there but I really would be surprised.

They already have Saliba, Luiz, Mustafi, Sokratis, Chambers, Mari and Holding.

If they sign Gabriel they’ll have 8 senior centre backs which is ridiculous. Imagine trying to sell that to a young player. Feel like we’re in a much better position here and don’t forget he was happy to come to us back in Feb so I’m sure he’d still be happy to come here.

Think we’re still well in this race personally.

Plus quite a big outlay on Aubamayang new contract and Willian. Only think I can think of is Lacazette is off.

No Celik RB in that squad either! Hopefully we get both announced shortly

They’ve also got that Mavropanos lad out on loan. Luiz and Saliba will be first choice for Arteta. Gabriel would have more chance of first team football here.
