I'm not really a gambler, I've tried footy bets, online poker and online casinos.
Most eye opening was the casino. Playing roulette, I tried a system where you place 6 £1 bets, each covering four numbers, without duplicating any bets, so bout 2/3 of the numbers are covered.
Turned £20 into £90 in about 5 minutes. win, win, win, lose, win, win. At this point I thought "fantastic!" and carried on. Blew it all in another 5 minutes. Then another £20 trying the same thing.
This whole experiment took about half an hour, and when I was sat on the couch, £40 down, I realised my problem. When I was winning, I thought "hey, I'm winning, I'll carry on!", then when I lost, I thought "I'll win it back on the next one". and ended up losing it all.
So I took that as a sign that I will never be a successful gambler!!

I do the 4 draws thing on fixed odds . Around 100-1 usually Ive had it up maybe 10/12 times , though due to the odds , when it does come in , its happy days . Another is Timmy 1st/last goal . Over a season its winner . Also centre halves , rio , terry 1st goal when England play . Get it up once in 5 games , the 20-25/1 pays for itself .
Though bets can go down as well as up !!!!
