Games Abroad.

Went to see Inter v Lazio in the Italian cuo a few years ago. Was pretty cool, amazing stadium, but dead cold and really muted atmosphere, was only about half full i think.

Also saw a College 'football' game years ago in America, but no idea who was playing, might just have been a practice game or something, and recently went to FIBA Eurobasket in Poland, so saw Serbia, Spain and Slovenia play each other. Slovenian fans were mad!

No, I am planning on get my arse to more sporting events than Everton games at some point though. I've been to Silverstone for the British GP & while I haven't done a proper list yet I'm planning on going to the following at some point:

An old firm game
Barcelona vs Real Madrid/Real Madrid vs Barcelona
AC Milan vs Inter
An Everton Tigers game
Some of the World/UK Championships of snooker
A game at the centre court of Wimbledon
Maybe a big boxing match

There are some more that I can't think of right now but I'd love to see all of the above

The only "foreign " game I went to was Eintracht Frankfurt v Bayern Munich.

Around 1986 I think, I was on a football placement over in Germany at the time. The crowd was very noisy, seemed like the whole stadium was singing together. But the football was painfully slow if I recall. But you couldn't fault the atmosphere.
