Why do you think it's a dumb decision?

I am not a proponent of mixing executive and non-executive roles....it muddies waters...and diminishes accountabilty at the executive level.
It's a typical Everton decision because their governance is incompetent.

We should never forget that we are an utterly nothing club that hasnt won a pot worth mentioning for 30 years.

I personally never forget that and no, I dont count The Fa Cup as a trophy worth mentioning.

You can either dwell on that every second of every single day, which in turn will make you very bitter and twisted and will mean you take no happiness from supporting the club or you can put it to the back of your mind, take the "small victories" and dream of a day that might never come, a dream that we sit back on the top table.

Personally I prefer to dream, it doesnt mean I kiss arse, it just means my glass is half full, even when its totally empty.
