I'm hoping this goes through because if Barcelona are willing to trust us with the development of one of their 'next big things' it sends a message to other players that we're a good club to be at and develop themselves as players.

Sport who are another spurious Barcelonacentric newspaper had him linked with a loan to Valencia last week and all the comments were complaining that they'd rather see Alexis go on loan than Deulofeu.

He's a bit like our Barkley a big hit with the fans but not with the management. I think the Neymar signing has appeased the fans so they can probably loan out Deulofeu without too much uproar. He's been linked with everyone but the Catalan connection and first team football we have to be considered as a decent choice.
