MEMO TO ROBERTO:

Please, please, please....now he is in the team leave him there.

That lad is a magician.

Please make him the first name you write down on the team sheet at OT.

What I liked about him today was that he didn't go down under tackles like a lot of players would to get a free kick; he carried on and wanted to play football, drive on.

Exciting talent.

That was very noticeable about the kid's play today.

He stays on his feet.

He is magic, absolutely magic

I would wish we could get this kid for longer than 1 season, but if its not Brca, then it will be a team in Europe.

Class act, and once he makes the right decisions, he will be Messi like.

I didn't think he'd have this amount of impact already at this stage of the season. We were cruising today all whilst having Mirallas and Barkley - arguably our two best attacking players - on the bench.

And his tricks are nothing too fancy, either. Simple stepovers, little nudges, knocking the ball past players, and he still pulls them off effectively. We love stuff like the gif below, but having kids like this boss the game for us isn't bad either.

He was brilliant today. Their defenders were terrified of him.
Mind you, some of his corner kicks were Arteta like and failed to beat the first man.

Aye, truly ace. And Baines who everyone in the media has been harping on about being crucial to us.

And Gibson! I know he wouldn't get in our team now (but it still counts!). He was often crucial last year which shows just how far we've come.

Of our rivals, I think our squad is superior to Spurs and Liverpool, (given no injury crises) unless Soldado suddenly starts slotting for fun. 5th is definitely a very achievable goal this season, for me. The kopites would be absolutely gutted if we finished above them again like.

Anyway, Deulofeu: miles from the finished article, but a real livewire that you can't leave alone for a second or he will hurt you. His speed and hunger for the ball are relentless. Must be so tiring to have to deal with for 90 mins.

Out wide he's a real threat but when he develops his game he'll be something else. At the moment he has a penchant for going it alone (shooting on sight for example) - his pace is blistering, his close skills a wonder to behold. Brought into a more central role in the 2nd half he was unplayable and an even greater threat - a rarity in the English game to see someone attacking defenders from 30-40 yards out - taking the ball and beating 4-5 men at will. A wonderful prospect indeed.
