Everton boss Roberto Martinez on Gerard Deulofeu's injury: "It doesn't look great, it's a soft tissue injury, he pulled his hamstring.

"We will do the scan straight away, he felt it and we will assess it, he is like a sprinter and the hamstrings are exposed in those sort of injuries."

Gerard Deulofeu hobbled off just after the hour mark to be replaced by Kevin Mirallas.

Daft thing is if Deulofeu is out for 6 weeks it may help us get him next season as it may well be closer to 3 months before he is match fit and playing well again so Barcelona won't think he'll have improved enough for their first team.

Said that at the time. Wasn't playing well before he came off either. It could end up benefiting us long term. Not that I'd ever wish it for him, obviously.

Out until the final third of the season according to Martinez.....

So that's February at the earliest.

Torn hamstring is usually 6 to 8 weeks maximum. February, I think.

Deulo just said on twitter that they will do the scans tomorrow. But the doctors usually know.
