Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

Yes because they are so much in the clubs pocket, hence then won't print a story that hasn't had the clubs backing

He might still sign, but him and his agent will make us pay through the nose.

Or, he might want to play in Europe for Spurs or West Ham giving him more chance to impress Barcelona his boyhood club who he loves.

Everton are set to complete a £2.2m deal to sign Barcelona attacker Gerard Deulofeu, according to Sky Sports' Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.

The 21-year-old winger previously spent the 2013-14 season on loan at the Toffees, scoring four goals in 11 starts for the club.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez was keen on a second deal for the highly-rated youngster last summer, but he joined La Liga club Sevilla instead on another season-long loan, and played 28 times, scoring three goals.

But Martinez is now expected to land Deulofeu on a long-term deal, with Barcelona having a buy-back option for a specific, unknown fee.

Balague confirmed: "Deulofeu is going to be transferred to Everton. €3m with an option of FCB to re-buy him later on for a price. He didn't want to go on loan."

Deulofeu, who was born in Catalonia, is a product of Barcelona's youth academy and has represented Spain at every level from U16 to U21, making his senior international debut last year.

He has made five substitute appearances for Barca and played regularly for Barcelona B, but has never started a match for the senior team.

Think calling him Judas is harsh actually. But, he has played us.

The Spanish Hustler is better.

Aye, he's still falling short on some key Judas elements. If he turns his back on us, he's a Judas. If he comes here and leaves in 2 years, Judas. If he's not a very good player, he's... I won't say lazy, because he's not that type of player, but he wasn't mentally strong enough to play for us.

I really should make a chart for all of this, so people have a convenient way to find their opinions.
