If we have picked up the lad for that price then that's a fantastic bit of business. It does suggest that the buy-back price isn't 'that' high, so Barca can grab him back without breaking the bank should he turn out to be a worldie, but to be honest I see this as a no lose situation for us.

We get a decent young player for an incredibly low fee. He's used to the Premier League, and even if he does sufficiently well for Barca to want him back, then he'd have to have pulled up trees for us, and we'd still make a profit on him.

What's not to like?

This, you have to be concious of players values, but the price we are allegedly getting him at in the context of our budget, for what we may get from the player is fantastic.

This isnt unusual, Chelsea signed Orlandi on the same basis.

The devil is in the detail im sure there is a time frame and a set fee, but you would have to say with the talent Barca have and could attract the chances of him heading back there are slim, unless he proves Ronaldoesque which is good news for us.
