Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

Oh and I said Friday at the latest, it's expected to be completed tomorrow, even a slight chance today but very doubtful due to Spanish holiday

It's more about them being able to just go out and do that, like ...

Envious eyes cast once again by the majority of Evertonians.

They have over double our revenue, I just expect Liverpool to go out every summer and spend shed loads of money on players. Thankfully they have tended to cock it up in recent times.

It'd be great for Everton to have that kind of spending power, but rather than being envious of other clubs I'm more irritated at the lack of strides being taken in our commercial revenue.

Rickie Lambert Southampton £4,500,000 2 June 2014
Adam Lallana Southampton £25,000,000 * 1 July 2014
Emre Can Bayer Leverkusen £9,750,000 3 July 2014
Lazar Markovic Benfica £19,800,000 15 July 2014
Dejan Lovren Southampton £20,000,000 * 27 July 2014
Divick Origi Lille £9,800,000 * 29 July 2014
Javier Manquillo Atletico Madrid On Loan 6 August 2014
Alberto Moreno Sevilla £12,000,000 * 16 August 2014
Mario Balotelli AC Milan £16,000,000 25 August 2014

And that's just last season.

Anyway, back on topic lads.

Deulofeu, if he can apply his obvious skill set in a more mature manner, could be fantastic for us. Assuming he does sign soon, then I have to admit to being pleasantly surprised by our early transfers. Could only say well done to those involved at the club.

So why can't the hold up be at their end? Seriously?

Look, Barcelona are not a small time club arguing over pennies with the likes of us. Everything would have been agreed with us and them before he flew in for talks.

It's likely we and the players agent are ironing out issues over wages.

Players registration is a quick fax, is that really holding it up.

Come on now.

It depends. If Deulofeu is on fire, he feeds Lukaku on behind, he bags 30 goals... you never know.
Yea never say never. Who would have thought the season before last we would come so close and finish above Utd or Liverpool would almost win the league for that matter. Once players go on to the pitch money no longer matters and we have a really decent first team that if clicked could be special.

This will happen in time, no need to panic. He wants to come, we want him, Barcelona happy to let him come. Just waiting for the final bits to be done and we can all relax. No idea why people are getting wound up by this, Besic took an age last summer.
Why was that? God it was a killer :-)

city are the ones who could be caught if they don't watch it. especially if aguero goes. if they're going to spunk millions on sterling and wilshere as their transfer business then that's becoming a really weak overpriced team.
