Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

If that is the case, how come the Spanish newspaper Marca selected Deulofeu in their La Liga 'Worst team of the season'

I think it was a "worst signings" eleven not "worst players", perhaps more a reflection of the lack of games he played rather than ability, he clearly did not get on with the manager at Seville, the fact that Emery doesn't rate him doesn't make him a bad player, our manger clearly rates him.

Spanish U21 coach also clearly rates him as well and he must see a fair amount of good talent.

Emery didn't rate Isco either. I wouldn't necessarily worry about it.

btw - I think Emery did rate him. He just couldn't stand him and the feeling was mutual.

LinkedIn is ridiculous. Over 80% of my 'connections' are recruitment agents. All good and well when I want to move on, but I can't change job every week.
Exactly - It's mostly people wanting something of you.

The recruitment agents want your contacts so they then spam them.

Right - On Topic. ;)

Emery said his attitude didnt match his talent and made the point that he'd have to change if he was wanting to go far with the talent he has.
Think thats benefited us. The lad realises he does have to grow up and put a bit more graft in. We'll see a much better Deulofeu next season than we did back in 13/14.

The thing I like about Deulofeu -- and to a lesser extent Barkley -- is knowing as long as he's on the pitch, Everton have a chance to pull a result from nothing. That jolt of excitement when he gets on the ball and Everton need a goal makes watching the matches all the more fun.

The likes of Pienaar and Osman (in their primes, anyway) may be eminently more polished, but sometimes it's nice to have a player like Deulofeu when all the other doors are locked.

A large chunk of those agents are fake mate. I've seen them post about job openings and its all a way to make your profile visibile to the connection of your connections so they too are lured into commenting for job posts like "I'm interested" but in reality which agent has the time to view over 20,000 comments asking to view their profiles?

So linkedin is overhyped imo and a gig in which people wanna look more professional than they are.
