Doing well in a pre season game at Oakwell is no real indication.

He simply does not have the physique to play that role regularly in the Prem

No real comparison. Aguero is as good as any target man at protecting the ball with back to goal. Don't see del ever doing that.

I really do hope that Barca never activate the buyback clause as I do think Del is the real deal and can be a world beater. I really do think he has the natural ability to be that good.

Agreed pal. Aguero world class at using his frame for the size of him. Not sure Ron could mould him into that type but could play to his strengths. CB'S would have a nightmare chasing him down channels with his turn of pace overy 5 yards

Im saying that physical attributes have no bearing on where you play on a football pitch. You play to your strengths.

And no I'm not joking, Vardy is a scrawny rat.

Del looked much more dangerous in his 15mins second half as ross was putting some nice through balls in for him. Its hard to judge on yesterday as first half we had a lot of younger players in especialy at the back. I thought dowell was quiet an you could see the difference when ross replaced him.

Del and barkley could form a partnership like gerrard and torres givena few gamed to work on it.

I think with a pacey striker it would allow for a more technical player (rather than a pacey player) like mata on the left who knows how to pick a killer pass.

Be smart and fast, best any shoddy prem defender. One ball over the top with good movement and bang

To be fair if Del did get turned into a striker it would be hard to avoid the parallels.

Deulofeu has no where near the same build and strength of Torres/Aguero or even Vardy. Vardy is scrawny yeah, but you can see he has that strength like climbers. Pure dense muscle, no mass.
