We aint going to win a single game. We haven't even got a proper striker, only some tree we kick balls at and hope they rebound in to the goal.

Agreed. The only nagging doubt is that you feel that they might have hit top gear early. Look what happened to Argentina in 2006.

I dont know mate, they never seem to balk at the occasion, when you see how England performed last night and compare it to that team who have many players in their first tournament even some below five caps, you have to say what ever it is about the Germans they have a psychological edge in tournaments.

Think their centre halves will conceade though. Great team in the making. Two very good players left on the bench as well not used - they have supurb depth.

I think England should've brought some young guns.. Might have made the difference.. To many Chiefs, not enough Indians on your squad..

Hard to tell on that performance. They lost Cahill early on, I suppose.

Adam Johnson definitely for me. Especialy as you saw last night the delivery of the final ball was atrocious.

It's not just one person, the technical abilities of English players are just not good enough. Imo, if we are to pinpoint the root of the problem, it goes all the way down to the grassroot development at the lowest age group. There's a huge difference when you emphasis on technical aspect at a tender age. Kids in England are train differently compare to countries like Spain, Germany and Holland.

Just when the refing was top notch throughtout the tourney we get a ridicilous red card on Timmy. It arguably shouldn't have been a yellow.

Germany seems so much better to watch w/o Ballack slowing everything down. They should send Prince-Boateng a thank you card.

I thought the Aussies passed it around nicely in the attacking end however especially now don't have anyone who can put it in the back of the net. I suppose an appeal for Cahill will go nowhere either. Where's Viduka?
