****** "stong case"? Did anyone actually ask the lad that was hit "Did you throw a punch?". The CCTV clearly shows he didnt, so because GBH says he THOUGHT he was going to be punched he lashed out.

That's like me running up and stabbing someone then saying "he came at me with a chainsaw and I defended myself" But I still killed/stabbed him didnt I? Or doesnt that matter because it was all a big mis-understanding?

The worst thing about all this is the reaction after the jury's decision when a media campaign went into overdrive to sell it as a reasonable judgement. That's where this one fits in too. I'm actually embarrassed for that lawyer. He clearly believes he has to make this statement so his law firm doesn't suffer adversely from a gang of divvies who wont use them 'be-kos 'e tried to bang up our fukkkkkin' Stevie, la". Obviously a man of principle.
 
I've always had the opinon that the justice system in this country stinks to high Heaven.....
....and those nobhead Lords who sit on their ar$es all day for fat cheques and make all these f***ed up laws, need castrating. :@

Five of his hangers on are getting sentenced next week for affray - basically cheering box head on to **** McGhee and he walks away with the judge's tongue up his arse?!

Un-*******-believable.

Back to his solicitor:

"...the media had gone "overboard" reporting the CCTV evidence, which led some people to express surprise at the result. "People thought it was just a jury verdict based on who my client actually is," said Mr Green.

That's right, and no one with two brain cells to rub together will ever think otherwise.
 
His mates took the rap for SG Box Head while the biggest aggressor walks free. Just about sums up the judicial system in this country.
 
It would have been nice if he had to pay the guy compensation , and wear an illuminous vest for a week whilst doing litter collecting work at the local Asda .

ferguson got sent down for an on field headbutt of john mcstay.

he actually got commended by the police for his self defense actions after one of the burglars swung a magnum of champaign at his face.
