Decided to respect fellow Evertonians who wanted to pay respects yesterday and stayed in the pub a bit longer , got to my seat 45 secs in to the match.
Have to say didn’t hear any strains of the national anthem outside the ground.
Also , the in match clapping / tribute thing has run its course regardless of the cause. After all the arguments over the monarchical tributes I didn’t realise there was another one in the first half, and I’m still hazy who/ what it was for.
Let’s just get back to paying our respects before k.o. and not during the 90.

From where so was sat in the Park End the booing came from the West Ham fans and they were all shouting amongst themselves to shut up.

Thought the same. The first 10 seconds was their fans all shushing each other. Then I heard one boo come from the main stand area. Then another come from GS, so they blew the whistle early. Was noticeable that no-one sang the National anthem whatsoever, except for the WH lot.

*Just* a 'commoner' supporter of Everton who the club wouldn't acknowledge on screen because they were petrified it'd be seen as a slight on Queenie's stuff...you know, dragging the monarch down to the level of a real human being.

Shameful. I know who I think was more important to Everton. The club shat that. Cowards.

I sit next to the away fans and didn’t hear any of them boo, a bit of shushing from one or two who arrived late (which often happens). The booing was from the Everton fans, which totalled about 0.2% of those in attendance. A drop in the ocean, really.

It came from the back of the Lower Bullens in there end from the way they were turning round in the Paddock.

Either way it was wrong in my opinion, but each to their own.
