There is always a way to cope.Me and the missus stayed at the Titanic, took two minutes to get to ground, about 30 minutes to get back, we coped![]()

There's a cartoon I'm thinking of, and all the characters are fighting, then a mummy duck and her ducklings want to cross the road or something so everyone stops and they cross, then the fighting starts again.Iām a fairly fit 66 year old and in good weather, it was a comfortable walk from town, not sure how that will feel when the rain and the wind are lashing me, also the stupid bridge weight restriction, with the stop/go lollipops - I am sure will be badly received by a big portion of 50k people in bad weather.
Iām sure weāll work out better routes and get our collective acts together, but the distance to walk may prove to be a way of culling older or less fit people from the Season Ticket list. My dear old dad will never walk that distance, letās hope systems for disabled are addressed.
Notwithstanding, it was fabulous. What a stadium, when the sirens and Z Cars beat out, hairs stood up on the back of my neck. While I am able, this is going to be fantastic.
Ok boomer.I am really fed up of this "debate" about getting to the new ground. Many here need to stop, back off, chill out , or just fcuk off. As an Evertonian for all my life, more than 50 years, look, we went, got in, etc. Sometimes, when I was too young to pub hop, for a rest or to escape rain, I walked for miles. I fully understand that we are in "modern times", but distance, parking, hotdogs, nearest ale, etc etc... JUST GO THE GAME. I await the abuse. Ta lads...
I agree Buddy, Everton and Liverpool City Council should be applauded for getting all Everton fans exercising and getting fit again.I am really fed up of this "debate" about getting to the new ground.
