I always wondered to Arteta with corners. Once he arguably the best in the prem at it, then awful. Corners don't seem like a thing that should get worse with age.

Make the most of it while you can. No doubt they'll turn to dog**** within time like they usually do with our players. Bily's were boss in his first couple of games too.

My thoughts exactly. God knows what they put in the water at finch farm but seems to happen with every player.

It's easy to miss the fact that with Baines and Arteta we regularly aimed for the near post, meaning the ball had to be fairly low. Silly corner tactic to do, but it was employed by moyes. If you watch some corners from previous seasons, you'll see Jagielka making the front post run

They were good, put in a belter against Sland too after a cute 1/2 with Magaye in the cup last year too, nice technique to get a real good bit o'whip on them.

Arteta's fall from set piece grace was so depressing.

maybe our tactic was to hit it low for cahill to scoop in ala last minute at anfield a few years back. without cahill, our main target may well be felli now, hence higher corners.

We paid half a million for Gibson. When you see some of the players that have commanded fees in excess of Â£10M recently it makes you wonder. (looks @ Henderson, Downing, Jarvis, Fletcher)
