Weird, today is the first time I've tried to upload or hyperlink a moving image for a long time like

https://giant.gfycat.com/AgitatedUnsightlyBubblefish.gif
Doesn't appear to hyperlink even though it's a gif:
AgitatedUnsightlyBubblefish.gif

Also, WebM are smaller, more compact versions of GIFs and allow audio, but there doesn't be a way to link them:
http://webm.host/e8bea/vid.webm

Finally, you can't direct embed a twitter video without it just posting the link to the tweet, which wasn't what I wanted to do (i.e. per the last part of this twitter article)

Any chance we can get one or more of these things working?

I honestly don't have a clue about the last one though. I stopped learning about web stuff in 2007 and havn't regretted that decision at all.

I got strange looks 10 years ago when I was messing with Python at my job...now you're the f'in man if you know it.

God, I hate the entire IT field at times. Better off starting your own business in a niche field than actually work for someone who hops trends every six months. Anyhow, I digress.

Oh didn't realise that externally hosted media still relied on the GOT Server performance

Danny will correct me if I'm wrong, but they're copied onto our proxy server for client performance reasons.
I could pretty to fully understand it, but I can't invoice for my time so I just shrug my shoulders and smile.
