Giving up on them

Saw Delle Ali laughs with Spurs keeper at end of game.Theres your answer
The sort of signing a team makes that signifies they are doomed. Who else in the division would have been willing to pay wages (let alone £80k a week) to that absolute waste of flesh?

I find myself in a curious position. When I look at the players currently filling those royal blue shirts I wouldn't trust any of them to get us out of this relegation battle. Godfrey looks as though he has fight in him, Allan also but then you watch them preform and realise even their level and type of fight isn't what is required and, more importantly, fight isn't enough. The players who would appear to have enough ability, albeit limited, to get a few points at the lowest end of the table cannot be bothered.
Having said that that Everton "hope" is still there, mind you it is on life support but it still flickers. Something will happen, it might take teams to score a glut of own goals but we all know about the "hope".

why don’t we merge all these threads to one called “everton are doomed”

easier innit.

Our players gave absolutely everything yesterday, which is obviously all we can ask of them.

Heads down, chasing shadows, going through the motions. Slow passing, slow throwings, slow at doing everything. I was looking for one player on the pitch to raise their voice and lead and it only seemed to be Pickford who was shouting anything.

The crowd was well behind the team, but it was the team that sucked the energy out of the crowd with such a weak performance.
