Glitch in the ad blocking matrix?

Just had a ‘warning’ for using one immediately followed by a ‘thank you’ for removing add blocker without doing anything…..

Just checked and it's because you had adblock on, before turning it off;




If you log in via any device that has adblock, you'll be put in a usergroup of adblockers and receive notifications you have adblock.

After disabling it, it takes a number of page views without adblock to be removed from the group.

I've not used adblck for a couple years now. I think it's due to a recent Windows update and the whole Chrome profiles crap, which I hate.

I dunno.. I’ve still been getting the Adblock warnings on and off for months. No Adblock on my safari/iPhone.
You just have to live with it lad

At least i can see via that link that mine is clear. Otherwise i wouldnt have a clue

Another one that flicked on for me but I've got it turned off on all my browsers for GOT. Is there anymore details on what triggered it beyond this page? I didn't change anything but it was picked up when I first came online today and then immediately not.

@GrandOldTeam interesting... It picked up another block again and then another two Clears. I've not touched anything on the ad blocker and it is still showing as off for GOT to me. I'm using u-block on firefox but it's all turned off.

Not aware of any new ads mate - we've not changed any. If any rogue ones creep in, let me know the advertiser and I'll ask agency to pull them.

There's a sub for 33p per day that allows option to remove all ads if you'd like a guilt free experience.
