Why on earth did we keep Garbutt all those years on our payroll (I know he was out on loan but he was still technically our player) for a grand total of 5 games? He should have been released at the end of his first contract.

Because there are about another 37 players in the development squad and clearly they aren’t part of the first team setup. If age is your concern then is Boardhead a first team player？

are Gordon, Gibson, Branthwaite, Bowler, Broad head not homegrown? Also these Everton kids really need to get some more distinguishable names beginning with some different letters.
