I hope he stays. Good squad player. Takes far too much stick on here. There's at least half a dozen players I'd get rid of before him.

Contracts of Lonergan, Kenny, Delph, Sigurdsson and Tosun are about to end in like 5 months. Van de Beek and El Ghazi will end their loans. Only Nkounkou and possibly Virginia are about to come back from their loans. Looks like we may finally have about right amount of players per position when the summer window start. After so many years things are finally starting to look more normal. The same cannot be said about the quality of the squad though.

The squad badly needs trimming right down next season, regardless of the division we ultimately find ourselves in.

Of Goats latest list I reckon we retain (or at least 'try to' in the case of one or two) the following players and the rest can be released/transfer listed. I've added some of the younger players where I think we should start to integrate them from the summer:

Gibson is not playing regularly in League One. So that is a big question mark for me. Nkounkou will be too not sure how ready he is. Quite a few inexperienced ones in here like Dobbin & Warrington, certainly if we do stay up. VDB might stay if we stay up and depending on whether Ten Hag will be Man Utd new manager.
