It's difficult to imagine a worse squad in the league. Hopefully Sheffield United and Luton are the whipping boys they're expected to be and then we just need to finish above one other.

Interested if Sheffield United get those two Man. City players back. They'll have to sign one of them permanently, not sure if they have the finance to do that.

Could be a bit like Garner in letting Forest give him 40 games for first time in his pro career and then signing him. Would say Tommy Doyle probably has the higher ceiling as a player although McAtee scoring 9 in the championship at age of 20 shows his potential.

Just look at the CM options.

Gana, Doucoure and Onana is generally the established CM combination. As things stand Gana and Doucoure will be off to AFCON as soon as January starts (although Doucoure didn't make Mali's latest squad so perhaps he isn't rated by them anymore.

So alone you need two new decent CM signings otherwise it will be very threadbare in that month and potentially into Feb aswell.

So June has passed and no word still on Lonergan. Everton that, we should have communicated something. Hopefully we find out tomorrow in any trainings pictures. So Ken can start finding goalies as well lol

The club never actually confirmed that he signed a deal last year either so don't hold your breath.
