No love for Southampton

Would enjoy seeing their demise

Saints, Swans and Newcastle would be my ideal 3 picks. All horridly long journeys for away dates, so I wouldn't miss them. I don't tend to hate Newcastle as much as others seem to, but the journey there last time on a mid week night almost destroyed me. No thanks, get em gone!

Replace them with Wolves, Preston and one of the Yorkshire/Midland sides

Lovely

I would love to see Southampton down, their preciousness at the time we took Koeman from them was absolutely ridiculous. Some of them are still at it and trying to rub it in after the sacking.

They should turn their attention to the RS taking anyone that has a decent 5 games from them.

I would prefer Newcastle to stay up - by and large we seem to have a terrific record aginst them, and the NE clubs generally.

Other than that, the speculation is still a bit too close for comfort for me - I don't think we are going down at all as Sam will see to that - but we are clearly not a huge deal better than some of the sides who will at least come closer to it. It's sad to say that.

I feel for Southampton because Liverpool have leeched them dry. Swansea can't stay up, their transfer activity in the last couple of years has been laughable. Selling all your best players and not replacing them is the kind of deranged idea that can only come from American owners

chucked money on the saints at the start of the season, but think they'll just about stay up. Next season will be tougher though. Palace were always staying up for me, they'll finish about 11th despite that unbelievably poor start.

I mean, Southampton have 75 Million to spend like (Minus the cut Celtic will take)

They've got all window to replace him as well

Swansea, West Brom and Stoke (unless they sack Hughes) for me. Said it last night but Stoke and Swansea are classic examples of clubs not realising how good they had it, both had a reputation for playing their own style of football and both were comfortably Premiership clubs.

15/16 - Swansea finished 12th, Stoke 9th
14/15 - Swansea finished 8th, Stoke 9th
13/14 - Swansea finished 12th, Stoke 9th

Wasn't enough for either club and now they will both be lucky to avoid relegation. Swansea had their Barca light thing going on and Stoke was seen as a nightmare away trip. These days Stoke are a bunch of pushovers with the most goals conceded in the league (47) and Swansea are the leagues lowest scorers with 13.

As for West Brom they are the ultimate nothing club. The type of team where a season ticket is a punishment.

I know a couple of West Brom fans, and they'd probably agree. Nice guys though, but I don't get what they are trying to achieve play wise - a bit like us at the moment, but with worse results.

Too good a squad to go down they'll bring in a decent manager and get themselves out of it. Basically any club that has a good goalscorer is essentially safe:

Saints: Austin
West Ham: Hernandez
Palace: Benteke/Zaha

Swansea, WBA and one of Bournemouth/Brighton for the drop.
