Hey if they came back from this then fair play. But to be so unprepared for 3 sessions is an embarrassment.

Probably. Lucas was off in the last two weeks of the season, but I really liked him as a steady Eddie best ball partner. I would have worked him in, because I did not like the Thomas pick. If I took Keegan, I would have bumped Burns or Morikawa. Thought we would get more from Rickie than we have so far.

I'm surprised Fowler is only going to be playing 1 session out of 4.

I'm not overly concerned about these exercise avoiders, there's eleven in blue due at three that are todays primary worry.

As an American, you'd be absolutely furious with the tat they've served up as a team (and I use the word team loosely)

This trainwreck was always a possibility. Donald knows what he's about in these. The only other players with his 70% points record that have played at least ten matches since the format switch in 1979 are Hale and Watson, and they both were able to run up the score a bit for an appearance or two before the switch.

Donald would have the course set up right (he does), and I was a little concerned about Zach's ability to relate to this generation of players and build a cohesive team. That's something that seems to go as the captain goes, with us.

Yep and it's not even that Fowler played great yesterday as he didn't. I just think if I was up against it, he's a character I'd want out on the course.

For Johnsons sake, he needs a bloody good afternoon from his team because otherwise he'll be going down in Ryder Cup history for all the wrong reasons.

Yep, sometimes you've got to use tactics like that to slow things down a bit, make a match scrappy. Keegan had a decent season as well.

Burns and Morikawa need to produce something straight off here and try and get some red on the board. If this board fills with blue early, it'll be a nigh on impossible task for a beleaguered USA to turn it around.
