I’ve said it before on here, but I’m really not sure Rory has the best person caddying for him on his bag! Harry Diamond may be his best mate but…..?
Always makes me wonder if he’d have another major or two, not necessarily a Masters, on his CV if JP was still on his bag! Very rarely do you see him taking advice off HD particularly on or around the greens!
As one of the journalists put it after a missed putt yesterday - “he looked at his caddie Harry Diamond in astonishment! It’s just a hunch but I’m not sure that Harry has the answers”!

Don’t think Rory has won a major since he gave JP the big E!

100% he needs a strong minded caddie especially on the greens. He makes far too many mistakes on the greens and never requests any advice from Harry.

He's had another really poor Masters, just really poor decision making and shot selections again.
 
Wow, Hojgaard just hit the worst shot I've seen at Augusta since Rory yoinked it into the woods by Butler Cabin. Dead pull hook left for his opening tee shot on one.

Lucky for him, the ninth fairway is over there.

That was more gross course mismanagement. You don't see pros have those consequences for a flubbed pitch, because they don't end up in a spot like that the way we do. They do mishit pitch shots that badly from time to time.

This was a 36-handicapper's bad tee shot, with more distance on it.

Was an all time awful start, but he’s recovered nicely over the next couple holes.

Having been to Augusta, I’m still not able to fully wrap my mind around how a professional golfer ended up next to the houses from the tee box on 10 like Rory did. It was so left, and so short that it’s actually almost impressive.
