I took him at face value. Being a long term member of the forum and a member of staff too. I expected that his questions were sincere and an attempt to get to know me, rather than an interrogation to discredit my attack on his mate.

Everything I've shared in that thread and since has been utterly sincere, even talking about my troubles with my weight and anxiety. It's an important thread and one I've posted in countless times, purely in support of others.

He's trawled through months of posts and actually verified quite a few things, including the date of my wedding!

The only inconsistency, literally the only one, is me posting that I'd been with my wife for 5 years, then privately saying that I'd been with her 3.5 years (which is how long we were engaged, not how long we were together).

It's hardly a sizeable discrepancy and isn't proof of anything. If i'd known it would be dredged up again on the forum publicly, I'd have perhaps been more precise with my answer.

Mate, it would be really nice if you could stick to the issue at hand and not to an issue that has since been cleared up and where the person in question has unreservedly apologised.

It's not been cleared up though has it?

1) He didn't unreservedly apologise
- In his 1st post in response, he basically said his behaviour was sound because...."others do it' - so why don't you attack them!"
- In his 2nd post in response, he refused to apologise
- In his 3rd post in response, he accused me of 'virtue signalling', again refusing to apologise.

After being confronted by an openly gay member of the forum, he then relented and 'apologised'. Let's not make out he was totally apologetic from the off.

2) You @cronullasharks @COYBL25 made light of the issue and attacked me for raising it, suggesting I was a "stalker", " a kopite rat", "weird", "sad" and being "passive aggressive" and "condescending"

So, no, this is very central to this issue as it was THIS that prompted Bungle and others to call me a liar, without a shred of evidence.

in the second case of is @kieran a liar the court finds him GUILTY on charge 1 of gentle fibbing online and cannot come to an agreement on charge 2 of ruining very sensitive threads.
