I took him at face value. Being a long term member of the forum and a member of staff too. I expected that his questions were sincere and an attempt to get to know me, rather than an interrogation to discredit my attack on his mate.
Everything I've shared in that thread and since has been utterly sincere, even talking about my troubles with my weight and anxiety. It's an important thread and one I've posted in countless times, purely in support of others.
He's trawled through months of posts and actually verified quite a few things, including the date of my wedding!
The only inconsistency, literally the only one, is me posting that I'd been with my wife for 5 years, then privately saying that I'd been with her 3.5 years (which is how long we were engaged, not how long we were together).
It's hardly a sizeable discrepancy and isn't proof of anything. If i'd known it would be dredged up again on the forum publicly, I'd have perhaps been more precise with my answer.
