I think to begin with it was supposed to be for next season, but now it seems to be 'during' the 24/25 season. Can't see us moving mid season so likely at least a couple more years where we are.

I can see us moving mid season. I also think any future investment will insist on it too. Sadly, our money troubles will kill off any proper send off the Old Lady deserves.

Given our financial difficulties I cannot see how we do not move in straight away unless we happen to find a couple of hundred million behind the sofa.

I'm already saying goodbye, mentally. I want to savour every last second there. We might only ever play Arsenal (for example) one more time at Goodison. Hell. you might have already witnessed your last cup game there. The goodbye is that imminent. Man City on Dec 26th for possibly last boxing day game there, I could go on...

If that's not how other people want to see it, that's fine by me.

Looking forward to Saturday and all the remaining games here, however the club needs a fresh start with a new home and new owners. You have an entire generation of blues who probably associate the old lady with failure and relegation battles. I’ll be devastated to see her go but we need a fresh start, from top to bottom.

err, I think we’ll be there next season too as BMD is not finished until end of 2024 as a best case.

More concern if there’s any money left to complete the revamp of the Goodison site and avoid it turning into a RS car park instead….
