Alright, well we've got 5 - which is the minimum, I've got it set open for 20, don't think we'll get that, but I'll wait a few days before changing it down to however many we have before the player allocation.

What's the feeling with the player allocation?

It's set to go on the 6th now, thinking of changing it til the 12th/13th, but also want to know my team!

Thoughts?

Anyone actually know whats going on though?

To be honest I can't be bothered reading about it, do it automatically select your players based on your dream choices? As obviously we can't really do it offline.

It's like a US-style draft.

They'll randomly put us into order, then automatically assign the 1st guy the player from the top of their wishlist, then the same for the 2nd guy (unless their 1st pick was taken - then they'll get the next guy down)

Same goes until it gets to the last guy (so lets say the 6th for now) when it'll reverse order, so he'll get the 6th & 7th best available picks and works back up to the 1st guy again, reverses again and so on until everyone has 20 men...

There's issues with making sure you get assigned enough of the different positions, so you might miss out on another forward you've rated highly because you've got no left-back yet etc...

Basically, it's a lottery!...

Then from your 20, you select 14 for any given match day that can earn you points - the remaining 6 are basically sitting in the stands and don't count...

We can make transfers between ourselves or just drop players you don't want and pick up one that's still not on one of our teams yet...

Nice, we're up to 7 in the league now.

I changed the player allocation to Monday the 10th - so anyone else interested has a week to sign up!.

Few more days for real-life transfers etc then 5 days before the big kick-off to figure out our squads, arrange any transfers amongst ourselves and/or scramble over any quality players that are still unassigned...

Been allocated my players in 3 public leagues I'm in - I've got Baines in every one, so I'm chuffed.... One of them I've got Jo, Cahill, Arteta, Lescott, Yobo & Baines.

I need to stress the importance of making sure you have difference positions near the top of your wishlists...

One of my teams has Drogba, Owen, Keane, Eduardo, Robinho, Saha, Yakubu & Ebanks-Blake!!!...

Amazingly though, I've got Lampard (14th pick!), Valencia (46th pick!), Rosicky, Turner, Rodwell & Toure in it as well - really not sure what the other guys were doing with their lists.

Thing is though with those strikers you've got some great bargaining chips for transfers in the positions you need. Just pick the 3 or 4 you want and flog the rest for a boss midfielder etc.
