Not remotely worried, I'll be well banned by then.. infact I'm already planning a Frank style banning, go out all guns blazing and have the swear filter working overtime.

I don’t think our version was quite the same..

I will most definitely have posted a leaving thread having flounced off the forum for a 31st and final time. I will of course be checking intermittently to see if people have posted messages telling me not to go. Which they will not have done

Don’t go Prev……just to prove you wrong ….

I may be wide of the mark but like most forums nowadays I feel like there is a lack of youth and younger posters... it feels like the average poster seems to be between say 30-50 years old. With younger generations generally not having as much interest in forums due to rise of Twitter, Facebook etc does GOT run the risk of becoming an OAP hangout in about 20 years time, no younguns just a forum full of grumpy old men volleying their cats across the living room as Everton reach their 46th year without a trophy.

What does the future hold for GOT and does @GrandOldTeam have a masterplan to keep this place thriving and future proof for future generations. This is very important stuff im sure you will all agree.

My plan is to slate the Everton board until Moshiri pays me off.

USM Grand Old Team here we come.

A lot thought forums were doomed when social media took off. Instead I just figured they were another platform/bridge to bring in more visitors. Most accounts who sign up tend to know of GOT because of social media - GOT only has social media to bring more to the forum - same with the app etc. 2020 aside when traffic collapsed, we're busier every year.

I've no clue what the average age of the site really is. Google give us an estimate, as do the Everton fan surveys we send out but it's a decent enough mix.

No chance GOT is here in 20 years IMO.
