The Messy thread is a testament to the good people who frequent this sacred spot in the maelstrom of everyday life.

The Largest Oil has some of the worst football takes known to man but I can’t help being fond of him in a weird way.

I got no truck with him. Seems like a decent fellow. Though when @JimmyJeffers pointed out that he'd been on a GOT bender and posting for like 24 hours straight, I did start to notice. One of the early weekends during the WC I confess to checking his activity; he seemed to have posted starting at the 5am match, and continued to post every 10-15 minutes until midnight (I might be engaging in hyperbole, but not much). That's quite an achievement, particularly since he posts in the NFL thread as well as the footie stuff. If there is some sort of "GOT effort award" it should go to Big Oil.

I think the problem here, is we’ve been thinking he’s Big Oil, when the evidence is clear that he’s actually a team of much smaller Oils all working together to cause mayhem.

Having a faith is very important. I'd be very disappointed if my son didn't want to have faith because it would've meant I failed as a duty as a father by not nurturing him properly.
