GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread


I think Jericho should retain the title tonight. He may have played before a bigger audience before but I don't believe his star has ever shone brighter. It makes sense for a long title reign to establish the Inner Circle... I heard a line from Cody during his promo on Dynamite about The Elite vs Inner Circle, I hope that happens as a War Games style bout down the road.

I don't see Riho dropping the title... I was a little surprised The Lucha Bros didn't become the first Tag Team champions. I don't think they should hotshot title changes but if one were to occur it would be that one.

I think Omega needs to beat Moxley. He's lost his two big singles matches so far and if he is to be a credible big time star of the promotion needs to win.

I don't doubt the match quality will be great.
 
Went to the smackdown and raw tapings in Manchester last night. Too many tag team. Matches and filler matches

Smackdown was an okay show most have seen it by now nothing special.

There was about a 5 minute gap between smackdown and then raw l, they clearly did not want people to have a toilet break as nithinf was announced that smackdown had finished.

Apart from one match raw was terrible, wait for the lana promo, I cringed as I sat around kids and confused parents with her giving a promo on "beautiful sex" which was booed by everyone who had sat round for 4 plus hours at that point.
Nothing of note happened on raw and felt like a waste of time, I went to last November's raw and was just as bad.

Seth rollins was booed loudly on his entewnde and promo.

Funny because I somehow did not see the fiend attacking Daniel Bryan video on smackdown then watched the fiend attack aj styles at the end of raw and assumed it was the climax of the show but it turned out it was just fir the post show.

Everything felt so predictable the wrestling the promos, doubt I'd bother again especially at 90 quid a ticket.

I'm not into wrestling but I went on Friday night as I was offered a free ticket and figured I might as well see the spectacle. Seemed a bit flat in parts to me and as if the audience who'd paid weren't really catered to. Bit strange not to have a big screen showing the action in a place that size.

These Lana promo's are cringe worthy and so ridiculous,They need to stop doing these angles every year or 2
Must be so awkward for mums and dads taking the kids to wwe and hearing her talk about the stuff she and others talk about lol
 
Full Gear was a quality show.

The Jericho Vs Cody match was great, and while the ending was predictable it was still so well done. It was a great move to have "judges" for big title matchs like that. While it was only a throwaway moment I loved the whole staredown with Jericho and Malenko, that was one of my all time favourite WCW angles. The smerk on MJF's face when that guy threw the beer at his was priceless. He's probably the best heel there's been in the buisness for decades.

I was wondering if that was real,or a plant myself at the time lol,was hoping they asked Tony Khan in the interviews after the show but they didnt,
