GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

WWE are struggling to put on a TV show right now showing ppv matches to fill the air time up.

Once you take the magic out of wrestlemania then you lose what makes it special. Should have postponed it and shut wwe down for a while. It's only going to damage the brand not doing it.

Potentially as well it won't even be live
 
They will regret this decision for years to come. It's 100% vanity on Vince's part, they will cheapen wrestlemania beyond repair and turn off great swaths of their audience. A six hour show is a chore at the best of times, six hours in the performance centre with no fans is unwatchable. It's actually revolting that Vince is prepared to put his guys and gals at risk like this. I know he'll of convinced himself that he's "being a patriot" or some other nonsense because he wants to "entertain Murica!" but the truth is that he's just an utter POS.
 
They can't air it completely live, because the audience will hear too many spots called, jeez you can hear Cena call his spots even when there's 80,000 people in the crowd...so they're gonna have to find a way of editing all that out..


They're gonna have to gimmick nearly every match.
1 match will have to go around the building (Taker v AJ..... Already done with Ciampa Gargano), 1 match will have to go outside the building (Edge vs Orton).
Will need a TLC match....

Anything over 3 hours is ridiculous.
Think they have to pick 5/6 matches, and drop the rest of the card.

I'm sure they'll spend a few million doing up the Performance Centre to give it as special a feel as is possible (they'll have a big titantron screen all around the room).

Can't see how it works though.

And what happens when even 1 wrestler tests positive for the virus this week or next?..
 

Fair play to AEW that was a really good episode of Dynimate. Considering the circumstances it was close to perfect. Having MJF and a other guys as the "crowd" was a stroke of brilliance. The whole thing was ace and the ending was so great.

I thought it was pretty good actually and it was done so well that it did not matter about no crowd been there, bit stupid this wrestlemania has now gone to 2 days as well with that host who i could not care about-hopefully they dont have him come in and be one of the main people etc

Doing wrestlemania behind closed doors is a mistake full stop. They'd of been so much better off just postponing it till the summer. I know that its far from ideal but this will cheapen the whole wrestlemania feel.

I suppose the two day thing is at least better then it all being a one night show because thay would of been unwatchable. I don't know anything about American sports but the guy who they have as the host is supposed to be some big deal so I can see them using him in a major way in the future because they're obsessed with mainstream exposure not realising that their main audience couldn't care less.

He shouldn't be anywhere near the ring as he will be massively at risk with his medical background.

NIGHT 1:

Brock Lesnar vs Drew McIntyre for the WWE Title

Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair for the NXT Women's Title

AJ Styles vs The Undertaker

Kevin Owens vs Seth Rollins

NIGHT 2:

Bill Goldberg vs Roman Reigns for the Universal Title

Becky Lynch vs Shayna Baszler for the Raw Women's Title

John Cena vs The Fiend

Edge vs Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing Match

It's not clear if they'll do a woman's and a men's battle royle each night for the pre-show or have any other matches. Plus some of these matches are going to be possibly pre recorded from different locations ect. I might not be excited for Mania but I have to admit that I'm somewhat intrigued to see how they go about this.

Shame really, cos when you look at those line ups, it's a solid card that could have been a really enjoyable Mania in normal days.

No way will there be preshow matches or Battle royals... Would be Too many people in the building...thats why they've gone with 2 nights, limits the people in the building..

After AEW last night, you can have an entertaining show without the fans so let's see what Mania has up its sleeve..
