GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

As a longtime ROH fanboy, I’m glad it lives on, but interested to see where it goes

Tape library is the big thing - all that Danielson/Punk/Cole/Page/Bucks/Joe/Claudio footage will be great in packages. Plus it gets AEW closer to a streaming deal which allows them to grow even further

PLUS, that video game roster just gets even more massive, which makes me delighted
On the video game roster point…

I honestly don't get what people see in Excalibur. He just tries so hard to appel to the smallest part of the audience in the smart marks with all the Japanese and Mexican names of basic moves. And the way he tries to endlessly insert himself into the picture by saying things like "oh that reminds me of when Bryan Danielson did that move to me in Korakuen Hall" is an embarrassment. He adds nothing to the product, he detracts from it.

Has anyone seen Vince McMahon on the Pat Macafee podcast? He's really good on it and it's well worth your time finding it on YouTube.

Talks passionately about building the product and branding and how much he love what he does.

Also, he loves the undertaker

I used to hate him, but unfortunately they need him there. Ross barely knows the name of anything anymore and Schiavone never has. He's hit or miss as far as his callbacks and move calling goes, but he is the only one who knows the majority of the roster and can call what's happening on the screen accurately. If they got rid of him they would need someone who can do what he does.

There's plenty of other people out there in the business that are capable of doing a far better job then Excalibur without even coming close to being as irritating. Hell, they could drag Mike Tenay out of retirement at this point and he'd be a vast improvement even at this stage in his career.
