What an ending.
Was an amazing moment.
All the hints were there but I still couldn’t quite believe they’d turn him heel in his last run.
Punk returning and cena turning heel were the two biggest things that could possibly happen in WWE and we’ve had both within 18 months.
Looking forward to seeing how this all pans out.
Wish Seth Rollins would go away though.

Yeah it was great. Watching live, I thought it was an odd choice not having blood in a grudge match like that, but knowing how the show ended I guess it was the correct choice, as it would've made Cody bleeding less impactful.

Kind of mad to think that Kevin Steen and El Generico were slamming each other off the edge of the ring and doing chair spots like those almost 20-odd years ago in ROH and are still walking, let alone still doing it to each other. I guess testament to both men's skill.

Fantastic finish to the show. Never thought I'd be advocating for Cena to win a the world title after suffering through all his terrible runs from the mid 2000's but there you go. Heel Cena is going to be amazing. Brilliant match to go along with the ending too.
As far as the rest of the show goes. I enjoyed the Zyan Vs Owens match but I've got to be honest that I'm over seeing them wrestle each other at this point. I've seen it enough and its not like they've ever topped their work from ROH back in 2010 anyway. I like both guys work but can we please keep them away from each other at this point. The womans Elimination Chamber match was really good and, they built a lot from that. The Tiff/Trish tag match was fine for what it was. The only mild complaint I've got is that only four matchs on a show that runs this long is a bit much. I like the new format but I really do feel that just one more match on the card would make a difference and make the show flow quicker.

I think in a way yes, in a way no.
Hogans was massive because it changed the industry and pretty much saved it. However, business was terrible at that point. Hogan had to turn because he was getting go away heat, and it was done in the secondary company on a random PPV.
This was different.
Cena is as popular as he’s ever been in the WWE and is a massive movie star now. For him to turn like that, whilst WWE is as hot as it’s been for a long time is huge.
I think it’s already reached 300m views across the globe.
Just two different eras, hogans saved the business, cenas wont have any lasting impact in terms of changing the business but it’s the biggest thing they could have ever done at a moment when they’re back in the mainstream again.
I want him to win the belt, hardly turn up and parade it round Hollywood. Go full circle, have him threaten to leave with the belt when the year is up and have babyface punk beat him.
