Totally agreed.....picks like that should have been saved for random surprise debuts.....half the joy of the Monday night Wars was you never knew who would jump ship and show up on Raw.....at the right time and place Balor could have made a really memorable debut....

Absolutely. I always thought his debut would be taking our Styles to lead the Club. Suppose it still could be this weekend but it's less of a shock.
I know Mikey is a bit miffed that Bayley didn't come up but I totally understand the likes of her, Joe, Nakamura and so on not coming up yet. NXT still needs its stars.
Was a bit gutted Dillinger didn't come up though.

The other ridiculous thing about the draft was announcing that 6 NXT stars could be drafted, but then have both GM's ignore the NXT Champ & number 1 contender in favour of much weaker talents....you then have to believe Daniel Bryan would choice Eva Marie over Bayley...

Yeah thought the Club and Balor was a potentially great storyline....could have been like The Rock with The Nation, where Balor came in and slowly challenged AJ's leadership, eventually leading to a match between the 2 at Wrestlemania....
No problem with Bayley, Joe , Nakamura either....as I said above, was just silly have them available to be drafted, but overlooked for Eva Marie etc....

she made her debut in nxt on 7th May 2015 - fast forward 14 months and she is on the main roster
other talent like tye dillinger have been there much longer - dillinger made his debut on nxt in November 2013 - approaching 3 years now
Well was nice to see bayley appear at the ppv. Owens and zayn match was good but the rest was a bit meh. Some awful matches booked to be fair. A lot are the kind of matches you'd expect to see on raw or smack down every other week.
I thought it was bloody good as a whole
