He is part of a 3 person board. He literally is in the possession of one of the 3 roles that can force a decision through the club.

Then again Dean Saunders not understanding isn't exactly headline news.

All of them totally unsuitable qualities as a non exec director.

The point if them is to give indipendent, unbiased direction to the rest of the board.

An ex player already on the payroll is possibly the least suitable candidate they could find.

Pathetic from Everton, as usual.

Another example of how board governance standards are completely lacking. Add to this the fact that we make employees directors when an element of the board's role is to hold those senior members of the management team to account. Means we are asking Baxendale to mark her own homework. Unless of course her day to day performance is secondary to agreeing with the Chairman.
