I doubt that many modern fans of other clubs know what a Graham Sharp is.

As for me, I am not angry Graham, more disappointed.
To be honest that’s where I find myself , I don’t believe I could find myself labelling the scorer of that goal a rat but I’m extremely uncomfortable with the situation and like you say disappointed. I do understand how those fans who didn’t watch the man in his pomp have a stronger opinion .

The very fact that we all know "that" goal without explanation says it all to me. Its (rat) is uncomfortable imo. That said, when all the stuff about headlocks and stuff erupted, I was off the internet for about 10 days, so perhaps I missed stuff.

Not really because he one of the people backing Kenwright, if you remove Sharp and DBB suddenly Kenwright doesn't get to keep to the status quo of everything he says is right. Want to get rid of Bill remove his pillars of support.
His pillar of support begins and ends with Moshiri, who do you think will replace Sharp and DBB ? yes men or no men?

The people that Moshiri/Usmanov have put on the board were probably not yes men for Kenwright (in hindsight it is perhaps why they didn't last that long). Even so as long as Bill's got 50% or more backing he'll have the authority to take it in his direction. As things stand we'd need at least two other board members that haven't been hand picked by Kenwright appointed.

Or for example swap Sharp for Cahill and DBB for a David Dien/Peter Kenyon type, even just on a temporary basis, then suddenly the power dynamics shift. Decisions will face actual scrutiny and perhaps other people's proposals for modernisation will not be blocked because Bill wants to run the club exactly how it was in the 90s for traditions sake.
